Private bookings
Fancy getting a group together? Alongside our regular courses and workshops, we take private bookings for couples, parties, team building and more. We can fit up to 12 people in the studio, and we've got a talented team ready to run a proper clay day for you.
Everyone gets a real go, with live tuition throughout. No experience needed, and nobody leaves empty handed.
How it works
Private workshops run for 2 hours. What you can do depends on numbers:
Up to 6 people — throwing on the wheel, so everyone gets their own wheel for the session.
6 to 12 people — handbuilding, or a mix of handbuilding and throwing, whichever suits your group.
Handbuilding works well for bigger groups and for anyone who'd rather not wrestle with a wheel. A mix means people can try both.
Pricing
Prices include the 2 hour workshop and firing for 2 pieces per person.
Couples — £160
Groups of 3–12 — £60 per person
Everything's provided: clay, tools, glazes and firing.
Team building and away days
Something a bit different from the usual away day. Clay is a leveller — nobody's much good at it to start with, everyone ends up laughing, and people talk to each other properly while their hands are busy.
We work with charities and community groups too.
Same format as our other private sessions: 2 hours, up to 12 people, everything included.

Getting your work back — pieces take up to 6 weeks to dry, fire, glaze and fire again. We'll be in touch when they're ready to collect.
