Enjoy a month of perfecting those well earned throwing skills. Our tutor Lucy Turner will guide you through the next stage of your throwing journey. This course is ideal for students who have completed our beginners course or fellow pottery induction workshops. You must have some knowledge how towedge and prepare clay, centre and throw small cylinders.

The aim for the course is for you to confidently throw larger, more consistent and shapes that are more directed and perfected. You will be introduced into the following:

• Handle making
• Turning
• Plate throwing
• Joining clay forms
• Larger shapes
• Shape control
• Continue your throwing practice
• Reclaiming

Each lesson starts at 6pm (welcome to join at 6:30) – 9pm Wednesday evenings
This is a fantastic opportunity to progress you practice to a professional standard.
We have limited spaces of four students as we believe teaching in smaller groups is important.
