Monday Evening Handbuilding Course

6 Week Course

The Course:

This 6-week handbuilding course is open to all levels, from complete beginners to those with some experience looking to refine their skills. You’ll be introduced to a range of traditional handbuilding techniques including coil building, slab work and pinch pots.

Each week, students will be guided through structured projects designed to build confidence and skill, while also exploring form, surface, and function, within the context of ceramic history.  Alongside the guided instruction, there will be time and support for self-directed making, allowing you to bring your own ideas to life within a relaxed, creative studio environment.

Whether you’re looking to learn the fundamentals or develop a personal body of work, this course offers a balanced mix of technical guidance and creative freedom.

Monday evenings, 6.00-8.30pm
